How to Apply New Voter ID Card in Maharashtra?

Any citizen of Maharashtra who is at least 18 years of age or older can apply for a new voter ID. The new voter can also apply offline by visiting the nearest Election Commission office or do it online by using this easy method.

Step 1) The applicant visit the National Election Commission Portal On this portal the voter card applies online.

Step 2) After visiting the portal, click on the login button to "Log in" to your account (to start the application, you have to log in to your account). If you have not registered yet, click on the "Sign-up" option to create your account.

Step 3) If you are new to this portal, first of all, you have to create your account. Go to the "Sign-up" option and click on it; a registration page will be open. You have to enter your mobile number, and you can also enter your email address. Enter the CAPTCHA code and click on the continue button.

Now you have received an OTP to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on "Verify and Login."

Step 4) After successfully logging in to your account, go to the “Fill Form 6” option under the “New Voter Registration” section. You can fill out Form 6 if you are 18 years or above, or you will turn 18 in a few months.

Step 5) Now you have to fill out the complete application form for a new voter. on this application you have to fill detail as required for the new application, like

Step 6) After successfully entering all the details, click on the "Preview and Submit" button to complete your application.

After submitting your application form, you will receive the application detail along with the reference number to your registered mobile number.
